CERTIFIED SAFETY AND HEALTH OFFICIAL

The Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO) certificate program helps guide students through the industry’s evolving regulations and interpretations of those regulations.
It also focuses on employee safety and involvement, workers rights and responsibilities, employer accountability, training requirements, and more.

Ideal candidates hold positions as HS&E professionals; safety coordinators; human resources professionals; plant managers, supervisors and crew chiefs; construction site superintendents; safety and health training facilitators; and risk management and risk assessment professionals.

Courses need to be within five (5) years. At least four (4) classes must be taken with Mid-South.

2 short #7000 courses may substitute for one (1) elective.

Upon completion of the last course to earn a CSHO certificate, participants should complete the certificate request form, including a $75 processing fee. Certificate holders will receive a digital credentials, including a digital badge, from Credly.
